What it is
Umbrella of The Community NGO is a dynamic and community-driven non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to fostering sustainable development and positive social change initially in Kwale, Makueni, Machakos, Kajiado and Kitui Counties, Kenya. Cenceptualised and Registered on The 2nd of December, 2024, our organization is going to serve as a beacon of hope and empowerment, serving as a catalyst for transformation in the lives of individuals and communities across the region.

Mission
To embolden the spirit of resource pooling to support sports talent, community health, empowerment, and Macro, Medium, and Small Enterprises (MSMEs) for poverty alleviation.

Our Founding Story
Umbrella of The Community NGO was founded by a group of passionate individuals who shared a common vision: to create a better future for the people of Kwale, Makueni, Machakos, Kajiado and Kitui Counties. Inspired by their own experiences and driven by a deep sense of commitment to their community, they embarked on a journey to address the pressing challenges facing the region, from poverty and unemployment to inadequate healthcare and environmental degradation.
